We, SRI GANESH SHIPPING AGENCY, are a Partnership firm established in the year 1979 at Mangalore by Late Sri. K.S.Shetty (Founder of our company) who had more than 40 years of experience in Shipping and had his initial shipping career with M/s Pierce Leslie Limited, Mangalore. The Company is in the business of Shipping, Clearing and Forwarding, Steamer Agency, Custom House Agents, Stevedore and Transportation to carry out Business for various clients in India. Ours is one among the few companies which is involved with end to end shipping activities.
Our Firm is professionally managed by Sri. B. Nagaraj Shetty ,(Son of late Sri K.S Shetty)Ex minister Karnataka govt and Managing partner, who is in charge of managing the whole gamut of administration and operation in general. He has very vast experience in Shipping Line for more than 40 years, he is a science graduate and diploma in Business Management from St. Aloysius College Mangalore. To assist him his elder son Mr. Karthik Shetty (CEO) who completed his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering at London U.K and Masters in International Business Management from London U.K and he will be concentrating on Business Promotion/Marketing and day to day operational aspects in particular.
Mr. Sriganesh Shetty who is a Trusty in New Mangalore Port Trust and Specialized in Logistics/Transportation and Operations. Who is COO of Our Company looks after Logistics/Transportation Independently.
Mr. Shree Aravindaksha (9845446389) who is having a vast experience in shipping related activities for more than 3 decades.
Mr. Sudarshan Shettigar is experienced in customs rules and regulations, documentation for more than 2 decades .
Mrs. Rajashree who is experienced in import and export documentation for more than 2 decades.
Mr. Dinesh Bhat (9972530889) who looks after marketing under Mr. karthik Shetty (CEO).
Mr. Arun Prabas who is having vast Experience in Finance and accounts and he is Account in charge of our company.
Our Firm is expertise in Shipping Activities, handling of Import/Export/Container(EXIMP) Cargo/Project Imports and Clearance of large/heavy consignments(over dimension cargo) including Machinery, Timber Logs, Bulk Fertilizers, Wheat,Maize,Bauxite,Rock sand, Copper Concentrate, Limestone, Sugar, LAM coke, Iron Ore Fines/Pellets,Coffee Beans and Coal in Bulk etc., and are closely associated with Government Agencies like Port/Customs Authorities.

We are having vast experience in handling bulk/container vessels of various owners/principals from all over the world. Presently agents for TCI Express Ltd and Katavo Group besides various Tramp vessel owners.
We are having Our own handing equipment’s / infrastructure for handling all types of cargo.
Confirm, we have taken most of the Project cargo established in and around Mangalore starting from M/s.Mazgon Dock Limited , Mangalore Yard, Panambur, for their Pipe Coating Plant/ Off shore Project(Sagar kiran and Sagar uday rigs for ONGC Mumbai) , Capital goods of M/s.Campco Chocolate Factory at Puttur, M/s. Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd., DAP-1 and DAP-2 Plant , MCF – Co-generation Power Plant, MRPL Co-Generation Power Plant , MRPL CCR- 2nd Phase, M/s. MRPL Expansion Project a/c M/s.Lift and Shift, Part Project cargo A/c M/s.Udupi Power Corporation Limited and we also worked for M/s. Fly Jack Logistics for M/s. Suzlon Wind International Limited, Padubidri, OMPL, kiocl, kisco. We have assisted m/s Leighton Mumbai at port/customs in connection with laying of Single Pole Mooring System at sea, New Mangalore Port Water Limit and also handling presently TBF Project cargo, we are also associated with other MSEZ(Mangalore Special Economic Zone Limited) companies for their project cargo.
Our company having well qualified Staff who are capable of handling Project cargo effectively. Company handled so for more than 10 Lakhs Tons of cargo like Timber Logs/Granite/Iron Ore Fines/Coke/Lime Stone etc., every year.
